new motor

i just bought a 68 riv. with 430 wondering about putting a 455 in there will it fit?

 

yes and make sure the oil pan is the center sump set up or just use the 430 pan and pick up

If your 430 is running good and you dont have a built 455 ready to drop in.....stick with the 430 and do other things in preperation for having alot more power

....such as freshen up the tranny, cooling system, exhaust....etc.etc and you'll be ready for that bigger mill
