    Hey guys,

Looks like I have another project on my hands. Just when I think I can kick the habit, I can't.

    Pics to come...

Thanks in advance for the help in the future.

PS. I always use the "search function" before asking for help.

    Thanks,

I love the fact that more and more big Buicks are joining the board :bglasses:

Please post some photos of your LeSabre by using the board's attachment option, there's no need to have 10 posts (or more) to use that function.

Here is a pic. There is where the work begins. Is the lower molding on the body factory?

Dood-- that is a very, very cool car. Is that flat black or something???

Yeah, UGH. Somebody rattle canned it. But I don't think it had any body work done. No cancer, so I think it may be a good builder.

Kendall, after seeing the pic I don't know if that is factory. I've never seen a '62 with both the upper trim on the rear quarter AND the full length trim below it. The upper trim is definitely factory, and I think someone added the trim below it from an Invicta.

I think I am gonna remove it. I have yet to see it on another. Maybe we can start a 62 thread of pics.

Thanks, but I did that (Googled) before I even bought the car.

I like the small upper trim better myself, I think removing the bottom trim is a smart decision.

Like I said in the PM I've got a bunch of '62 pics. I can email some to you if you'd like. Or I could post a few too. Let me know if your looking for something specific.

Any idea what your plans are for the LeSabre?

I'm no '62 expert (yet), but here are two new members of the family. I've only had the Skylark GS, but these are both 401's, so how hard can it be? Invicta 4dr hardtop on right, LeSabre 4dr sedan on left.

    Hi,

Start your own introduction thread. List your for sale stuff in the classified section. Good luck with both the sale of your cars and wife.

    Cheers!
