Hey, Hows it goin? My name's Dave and I recently ran across a pretty good deal on a 76 Buick 455 and TH 400. I plan on putting this motor and tranny into a 72 Nova. I've been around motors for a while now, but this will be my first experience with a Buick motor. From what I've seen of this board, it seems like a friendly and very helpful place. I look forward to learning from you all. P.S. Don't hate me too bad because of the Chevy car :beer
Buick Powered Desert Nova .... Dave Welcome to V8 ! Yuma huh .... Been there over the years , back driving truck over the road . Anyways you won't get spanked too bad if you put a Buick engine in a Cheby But ... Do not put a Cheby in a Buick !!!!!!!! Enjoy and again welcome ! :TU:
lol, thanks guys. The reason for the chebby car is simply that's what I'm in the middle of restoring, and the plan was for a 383 stroker, but when I found a running 355 and th 400 for $100. I just couldn't resist!!! Besides, I always wanted a big block:grin:
