Howdy All, My name is Randy Lutz and I recently joined the forum. I reside In Ottawa, Ontario Canada. First off, I would like to say that so far, you are great bunch of guys/gals. Very helpful and a wealth of information. To date I have posted a couple of questions and was very impressed with both the quality and timeliness of the responses. I had a 71 Buick back in the late 70's until I sold it to buy a 69 Chevelle (sorry I suspect I committed a cardinal sin). However, in December I came back to the flock when I bought a 72 GS455. It is numbers matching, Flame Orange with a black vinyl top and is in very good shape overall. According to the North Carolina motor vehicle office, I am only the second licensed driver of the car. I have the original bill of sale and window sticker and soon I will go hunting for the build sheet. I tried to attach the window sticker and bill of sale for interests sake, but they are too large and I do not have the skill set to reduce the size. Cheers Randy
Hi Randy, Welcome to the board, you will find the people here to be an enormous source of information and entertainment  Welcome to from a fellow Ottawan, i live in the west end (Bridlewood) and believe it or not there are a few of us in the City. I know of at least 10 of us although they may not admit to knowing me! Drop us more info on the car, will we see you out this spring?? Cheers, Adam
Thanks Guys, Hey Adam, are you the guy with the white GS? I was told it is in perfect condition and look forward to drooling over it. By the way I live in Stittsville, just spitting distance from Bridlewood and I hope to hit a few of the cruise nights at Hazeldean Mall. Cheers Randy
Hi Randy, Yes, that's me. Where in Stittsville are you, I have a friend that lives there and one of the guys here from the board lives there too. We are usually at Hazeldean every Tuesday evening, look forward to meeting you. Adam.
Hi Adam, I live on James Lewis Avenue, which is a small street just south of and running parallel to Fernbank. When do the cruise nights start? I am itchin' to drive my Buick. I bought it in October, had it shipped to my house on Dec. 3 and it has sat in the garage since. Never even had a chance to try it out. I did start it up last night and sat in it for a bit. Listening to the big block kind of made me moist Who is the other guy from Stittsville on the forum? Cheers Randy
Hi Randy, Strangely enough , his name is Randy also, he goes by the name of Rivman on the board. He pops in here from time to time, I only see him in the summer on the local cruise night circuit. His Riv is another stunner! Love that car There is also a 69 GS 400, a 70 GSX, a 72 GS, that belongs to APVGS (Tony) here on the board, a nice 68 GS 350, and a smattering of Turbo cars. If we could ever get all of us together, that would be a real sight!! Adam
Hey Randy.Just saw this thread!! Tony here.As Adam says a few of us are around the Ottawa area.I hope to get out to Kanata and Orleans this year.Actually,I am not that far from your area also.Adam and I have talked about a Buick get together a few times..maybe this summer!! :TU: Later,Tony.
Welcome aboard Randy :TU: From the Barrie area. I think you'll find the board a great tool. Just a bunch fantastic people on here and always willing to help! Jim

Buick get together....hmmm Welcome to the board Randy. And I like the sounds of that buick meet, I'm 10 Klicks from barrhaven. Cheers guys.
Maybe we should all head down to Yardley's BBQ, I hear there is going to be free beer.... :beer Adam.
1972 Stage 1 Hello Randy, My name is Bill Arseneau and i own a72 GS Stage 1 which i bought new in Saint John N.B. in October 71 . In 1988 i had another one the same. It has a 445 engine, 400 turbo ,saddle brown interior and hunter green exterior, buick ralley wheels and i sold it to someone around your area i believe. I was just wondering by any fluke if you might have ever seen it. Welcome aboard Bill
Buick 455 HI Billy, Can't say as have ever seen it, but perhaps another board member may have knowledge of that machine. I was out in Halifax a couple of times in the past few years and I sure love the prices of the beer at the Fleet Club. Cheers Randy
Randy, Welcome, from another member of the Great White North club, only I'm from the central part. :beer Just a little too far away to make it any of your cruise nights.
new guy here too! Boy the net sure makes the world seem a little smaller! I even met a giy from my town her also!I told some people I was going to build a BBB and they thought I was nuts! I'm tired of all the belly button cars ie. Camaro's and Mustangs and besides a Buick should have a Buick engine in it not a Chevy or Olds!! 1986 Regal T-type clone with a 455 , T-10 4 speed and a 9" Ford disc rear end
Hey Randy, Adam, Tony & Tyler Randy you & I are neighbors! I'm in Stittsville as well. I saw alot of your names in the Mclaughlin Buick roster & thought we should all pick a night & have a Buick show of force @ the hazelden mall! Whadda think guys? Let me know. Les St. George
Les.Sounds good. When the weather gets better, and we all are running o.k.Let`s send around some PM`s for a meet.Later,Tony.
