New GTO getting smaller

    The body kits are nice, I'm just not the kind of guy to change that stuff. I just want it faster. Biggest issue I have is the rear end and trying to get enough tire and traction.

    I think that Trans Am rendering is great, better than the Camaro.

    WRT the next generation: Because the way the market is these days, I don't think there is room for Camaro/Firebird. What I was thinking would be cool is to do:

    CAMARO as a base model as far as luxury, but with things like the SS and a ZL1 427 deal. Compete against the Mustangs

    GTO as the mid model with more luxury options than the Camaro. Compete against the M3's and their counterparts

    RIVIERA as the premier model. Luxury Sport Coupe. Compete against the M5's and their counterparts.

    A Riviera against an M5 ?!? That sure would be fun, but I think the technology level of the M5 would be hard to rise to.

    Not really. Just throw in the LS7 keep the weight down and price it lower.
