Received my hood about 2 weeks ago, and it truly is a work of art. The create that he ships them in, is phenomenal. These hood take a long time to build, as he builds them one at a time by himself. So the quality control is top notch. Upon setting the hood down on my car, it lined up with the OEM fenders perfectly. I I am totally satisfied with this hood. If I needed another one for another project, I would put in for it in advance and wait however how long it took. Thank you again Craig, Dennis Connell
Thanks for the feedback Dennis. I wish I could crank them out faster. I just finished a mold mod for the underside bracing that should save me some time. Also thanks for the crate review  It's taken a few times to get a hood to a customer without any of the inside foam being rolling all over the inside of the box! Luckily none of the hoods have ever been damaged! I have to drive my wife to Martinsburg, WV this coming weekend. She was given a big promotion, this assignment will last maybe a year to a year and a half. So I'll be racking up some frequent flyer miles off and on, but it'll give me a lot more free time during the week to build hoods. Lot's of positives with this latest development, only a few downsides. In the summer I can see friends and relatives in the Baltimore and Annapolis area too plus go back to Capital Raceway to watch some friends there.
I feel as these are very rare just for the fact you can't knock a lot of these out. I am thinking you haven't made many of these? Five? more that five? for the skylark/gs?
No I haven't made many, not counting the three I've had on my car as I was developing the final shape over the last 3 years, yours is number 8. I've sold two lift off hoods and six bolt-on.
