    About the OLD thing ...
One day a few years ago, my co-worker went on vacation and when the cleaning lady came arround she asks me 'Where's the young guy today?' :jd:

That's when I first suspected something was up :Dou:

    Congratulations Al - that's fantastic!

I've heard the grandkids are your reward for not killing your children.

I hope to be as fortunate as you one day and find out how wonderful grandchildren really are. :beer

  11. I first suspected that I was aging when the teenage checkout girls started to refer to me as "sir"... :puzzled:

    "Where's the young guy today?":blast:

I think "old age" is just a state of mind. If you start thinking your old - YOUR OLD!
If you are on these boards and still enjoy playing with your "toys", then I believe you are still young at heart.
"Let's hear it for PETER PAN!!"
I just turned 50, but I will still cruise the Avenue on a Saturday night and stop at one of the "show" parking lots. It's nice to share my interests with people who range in age from 17 to ?.
As far as grandchildren - they are another of lifes gifts.
You never really think about them and suddenely- SUPRIZE!!! - your a grandparent.
Enjoy them as much as you can. This is part of your "reward".
    :beer
