new engien for skylark 69

    it was only lose wire connect to the coel....
    now the car is great!!!
    i cance olso the starter , i took the starter from gmc safari 1996 only replace the head.
    is any one now about good place were i can buy musscle engein 450 v8?
    are the make new one?

    Welcome to the board!

    Buick does not make these engines any more.

    If it were me, I would buy a used engine and have it rebuilt locally. However because you are not in the U.S. (you are in Isreal?), and parts would not be easy to get, your best bet is probably to buy a completely rebuilt engine from someone in the USA.

    I have seen that TA Performance advertises that they have Street/Strip engines on the shelf, ready to sell. There are other members of this board as well that could probably sell you a complete package.

    Don't forget that you will need other things in addition to only an engine- you will need things like motor mounts and exhaust pipes (the 350 front pipes won't connect to the 455 manifolds without modification) and distributor and carb and air cleaner and ...

    Of course just about everything can be found pretty easily for the swap, and it is a lot of fun!

    my engine is ok but it is 350 4 brl.
    i want a stronger engine.
    what will be the most strong engine for this car?
    i understand it is body a so there is no problem to but all kind of engine...
