to start with I have a 66 GS CONV. 401 knock out.30 a set of T/A long tube headers and doc's manifold modify with a hei. ported and polish heads with a larger valve and 2.5 exhaust So I bought this 800 cfs AVS edelbrock carb and after putting it on I notice there is not a place for the trans kick down switch or a need for the dash pot. I have put in a ST 400 and used the ST 300 torque converter so it looks like there will not be a choice to use the switch pitch. Is that correct or is there something I'm missing
called edelbrock and they use to make a kit now discontinue. But said the guys at nitrous supply had bought out all of there hard supply have the kit on order, edelbrock pn is 72280 you can do a screech for this pn and summit racing will come up with a picture
ALSO, a dashpot is made (the slow idle down type) that includes the switch-pitch into it at idle so there's no adjustment needed. I believe that James at BestOfferCounts has them. No more fiddling adjusting a micro switch as it's built into the dashpot. Tom T.
