not a cam made for a stock engine and stock rockers, it's a solid cam with a 3000-7000 rpm range Part Number: 50354 Be the first to review this product Buick - 350 Performance level 5 - Compu-Pro - Explosive power throughout the power band. INT/EXH - Dur @ .050” Lift: 246°/250° RR: 1.55/1.55 Gross Lift: .485”/.498” LSA: 108° RPM: 3000 to 7000 Redline: 7250 https://www.crower.com/camshafts/buick-350-compu-pro-solid-cam-292-fdp.html
Would you please compare what yiu just posted?!! The lift details in your post dont even match the cam card!!! Its a level 3 btw.! AND NOT A SOLID CAM AS YOU CAN SEE IF YOU LOOK AT THE PICS
Sebastian, I think he is referring to the specs on Crowers web site on that part number that says Explosive power throughout the power band. "Engine Application Level 5 camshafts are designed for fully prepared, high compression ALL-OUT racing engines and chassis. Recommended Modifications Extensive cylinder head modification, bigger titanium valves, lightweight valve train, maximum flow carburetion or fuel injection, racing gas (alcohol or nitro), magneto or electronic ignition, performance rod and crank assembly and increased engine clearances are required for maximum benefit." I didn't yell at you for the wrong rear end cap, let's keep it civil around here please GranSportSedan is a nice guy
Please compare The lift and duration.. This ate not the same #. I saw the part # and checked it online. Idk why my camcard has the same product # but very different specs starting by mot being a solid cam. Even rocker arm ratio is listed on the cam card.
my apologies, I simply posted the specs with the grind number and part number you provided and I do believe it is a solid lift as evident by the hot and cold lash specs on your picture. your cam card matches the info on Crower site exactly except they list lift at 1.55 and yours lists lift at 1.60 ratio.. interesting.
Thats ok and i am a bit confused now too, since the product # is the same but tge grind very different. I guess only crower can tell
If that is the cam card that came with the cam then it probably is what is, a solid cam as GSS says. You can check the back of the cam to see what it says there. If it matches the card then you probably have what the cam card says you have. If the number is different then you can look that up and see what you really have.
Cam card is correct Cam stamping is correct. Its just the question why are there 2 grinds with same product #
Sebambam, sorry I wasn't trying to tank your sale. just trying to help by posting a little more info. it appears they are both the same cam grind and crower changed the lift specs from 1.6 to 1.55 rocker ratio. same duration at .050 lift for intake and exhaust on both the card and web info. the grind number is the 292ftp, the buick part number with this grind is the 50354. a good cam for a performance oriented 350 with supporting mods
still available? Ive got a rebuilt 350...1000 miles. I plan to do intake, headers....good/bad idea with this cam?
