new comp solid cam 455

new comp solid lifter cam for highly modified bbb. this profile has tremendous
mid range and top end power. this profile in our 481 stg 4 motor in a 2600 lb
81 regal shifting at 6400 rpm has gone 5.37 @ 132 with a 1.18 60 ft. 1/8 mile.
cam specs are. lift with 1.6 rr is 654 int - 659 exh. dur@ .050 - 278 int -286 exh. L/C 110 cam needs to be installed minimum 4 degrees

Now that is impressive!

 

If I did not already have one waiting for me to use, I would be all over this one.
It sounds like a very good cam.

Who was the maker and grinder?

 

michael. this cam was ground by competition cams using using their
dash 12 lobe profile.

 

Is this cam street able? If so I am interested

 

i would not recommend this for the street.
