    Engine looks great.

John, I like that look too. Ive been researching my options for that lately.

My understanding is that any SBC housing will work.
But here is a link to The Flying Dutchman whos parts are said to be for a Nailhead. http://www.fdrbp.com/
Click on water pumps then select Buick.

Thermostat housing is from TA. Cam is our custom grind (proprietary) solid flat tappet.
Peak torque was at 3900RPM made over 475lb.ft from 3300-4300
    Peak HP was at 5300RPM

Wow, those heads must flow well! Bet it's a big cam too. Most builds peak by 4800.
    Well done!!:TU:

.038" over 425". Custom JE forged pistons. The heads did flow well for not being a full port job. On our superflow 1020 probench they went 212 on the intake and 142 on the exh. Equal to about 225/155 on a superflow 600. Just careful work in the right places and the total combination matched together.

What intake manifold are you using?

If your customer changes his/her mind let me know:Smarty:Your not too far away for a road trip.

Oh and very sweet Nail you've built.

Intake is a reworked Elco dual quad with the exterior polished as well. Sorry this one is in the car already but we can build one for anyone.

Those are great dyno numbers. My engine builder was shooting for 425hp, but I was happy with the 540 lb/ft of torque and 410 hp.
