Hi, this is my first post and I have a question. First off, I own a 1962 Buick
Invicta with a 401 Nailhead. It currently still has the original Rochester 4GC
which is starting to leak and be a pain in the butt. I was wondering if it is
possible to bolt a modern carburetor (Edelbrock, Holley, Demon, etc.) to the
stock Nailhead intake? Also, if the carb will bolt up, what about aftermarket
linkage as I am sure the stock stuff wont work. Thanks guys, hope to get
    some responces soon :3gears: !

Can't help you with the carb question, but it is nice to see another 62 owner on the board.

I put a Edelbrock on my 63 electra with the 401. no problem. Upgraded to a 600cfm though. :Brow:
As far as linkage goes I could only use one of the factory parts. I kept beating my self in the head trying to figure out where I could find linkage. I had to make my own throtle linkage. Then I ralized how easy it is to make. :Dou: 1/4" All thread is what I went with. Works perfect.
