New block with sonic numbers

    I got my other block back from sonic checking. This is the block I’m hoping to run. How’s the numbers look?

    I'm not machining expert but I would think those should be just fine at .038........how much hp are you wanting to build, na, boosted, that will also be a deciding factor

    Ohh yes I forgot to say. I’m building a 482 with stage 2 SE heads. Fuel injected. I have not yet picked a cam. I’m thinking it will be right around 600. Naturally aspirated. No nitrous. Mostly street. But will see some full on racing also

    Means it's fairly even without much shifting of the cylinders.



    I would think it should be just fine for that. How do the main caps fit......nice and snu . If not when doing g the work just get a set of pro-grams to fix that issue.

    Mains feel snug to me, however without some number to go by its rather subjective. the 3 center mains in billet are $450 as a special order.
