    Hi Paul -

It's a Freemont built 1972 stage1 coupe. New acquisition? :Brow:

The fifth digit being a 'V' denotes a stage1 engine option.

PS - If you get a chance, can you please send me the options off the orange car? Thanks!

    GoldBoattail455 462 -> TH400 -> Posi

    G.S. Coupe 2-door hardtop.

    Are you sure the "V" is a V and not a "U"? U would indicate a 455.

Axle ratio could be the standard 3.08 or 3.42 posi.

Thats about all i can decode from the vin.

    thanks Marco, that was fast.
i was at another site and saw that the v means stage 1
there's not a lot left of the car. i don't have a title. i got
it from a mopar guy who used it as a parts car for another
'72 stage 1. someone started a frame off on it. then gave up
the frame has been blasted/painted and the body sat back on it.

do you want a list of the options on the orange car or codes on the
build sheet? the sheet is still on top of the tank i assume(never been
    out).
    p/s
    no a/c
    buckets/console
    p/disc brakes
    no p/windows
    a/m radio
    automatic
    sandlewood interior? (dark brown)
    sport steering wheel
    no tilt
let me know if you want any other info

    Thanks Paul -

Didn't you have the window sticker? It would list all the options I'm looking to obtain (like A1, B2, B4, C1, etc...)

If not, I'll just go by what's listed above.

What are the plans with the '72?

my dad has the window sticker somewhere. i still haven't got
it from him. the '72 i'll probably sell if someone wants it.
i was going to use it for parts, but probably not now knowing
what it is. can you tell me the original color/interior from what
i gave you? it was a floor shift automatic. most of the shifter
and most of the console came with the car. it has bucket seat
mounts in the floor. it had a pile of trashed door panels/rear panels
no dash pad. i guess the car was blue because the door jams are.
it has holes for vinyl top trim

i wonder if someone added a vinyl top at some time? or
did some cars have the trim without vinyl?

I've seen cars that had the trim with no vinyl, but the top was painted a different color than the lower body.

Maybe someone added the vinyl top in the previous 32 years :Do No:

apparently not even i can read my own writing.
the car is a U code, not V.
everyone who e-mailed and PM'd me about buying
the car. sorry to have raised your heart rate.
