Whoever buys this grille be careful with the studs. They look like they are too large the thread into the grille easily. Buick made two different size studs the 71 skylark grille used the larger studs. (3/8-16 threads) The 71 GS and Custom grilles used the smaller threads. (5/16-18 threads) The wrong studs will break the stud mounts in the grille.
Maybe before installing the studs you could use a thread tap to cut the threaded hole without breaking the grille then screw the stud.
