    GStage1 Always looking for parts!

Why not just buy them from Poston's or TA?

The front seal is National 450446, but you have to modify the front cover somewhat to install it through the front. (Don't remember the particulars) The rear seal is a Caddilac seal I think, not sure.

    seals....

guys im not knocking ta or pae or postons or any of those guys.thank god buick guys have them or performance parts we be few and far between and they are good with sharing info also.but if there are parts at the local parts house that work it would be easier to go 2 miles buy them and come home.i read a post where the guy said he bought from a place mentioned earlier and they had a ford part number on them.i will probably by some from ta performance since i cant get all the numbers..........

I am pretty sure the TA rear seal is for a 300 6cyl Ford engine and the trim to fit seal from Poston is a 472/500 Caddy seal.

The one I have from Postons is "Rol Gasket " p/n RS29115. Maybe the local part house can cross that # for ya. Mike D.

    From George's website:

"Use neoprene front and rear seals for your Buick. Rear seal is Fel-Pro #BS40012 (Cadillac, must be slightly trimmed to fit), front seal is Federal-Mogul #470543. They can also be ordered from Torque Tech, TA Performance or Postons, all are listed on our vendors page. You can also use National Oil Seals, front 450446 and rear 5068."

    Rear Seal

Larry, I got a good one for you, the first seal I got from T/A was a Ford seal than the last one was a GM part, AL.
