Over the last week I've installed a good running low mileage 350 out of my '72 Skylark into an '87 Regal. I need to find a fan shroud to fit this swap. I was told that a fan shroud from an 80's G-Body Olds Cutlass that originally had the Oldsmobile V8 will work without modifications. If anyone has one they are willing to sell please let me know.

    Thanks,
    Ken

Not sure, but I think you can cut about 2 inches off of the V6 shroud and it will work. Dan it to his I think. The Olds V8 shroud is what works for the 455 conversions. I'd expect you can get one at the junkyard for $10 or less.

I went to three local junkyards today, in the rain, and only found one Cutlass V8 and someone already took the shroud. I'll try trimming up the V6 one I have for now but I still want to find the Olds shroud. There is a local Regal with a Buick 350 and he used the Olds piece and it looked to me that it worked fine. If I see him again I'll try to verify what year car it came from.
    Thanks for the reply,
    Ken

A shroud from a G body with a Chevy V8 will work too.

I used the fan shroud out of 82 Chevy El Camino, so Malibu's El Camino's or Monte Carlo's will have what you need.

As suggested by a few people I trimmed up the stock V6 shroud and it worked out pretty good. I got the car started tonight, just have to hook up the exhaust and get it out on a test drive.
    Thanks,
    Ken
