You guys may know my 84 wagon, I'm thinking of going to 16" wheels. I found a set of FWD wheels that look a lot like the old Torque Thrust RWDs. Attached is the wheel and a second post shows my wagon. Thanks AL.
So it would something like this? IMO I like the wire wheels better, unless you can get some 5 spoke rallys Beth
Century Wagon I think the wheels need to to be a bit smaller and black back grounds, I'm still a newbie at the computor  AL
Hey Al A short guy like you would have his head about a foot above the roof line in Dan's pic. I like the wheels. Bill
Buick Wagons Rule!!!!! Bill, I'm not lowering the roof  . Dans having fun with this one :TU: . But as far as the wheels, Thanks for your vote :TU: , I'm thinking on buying these and I thank you for you input. I've done a lot of work to this little beast and 200k miles and still lights "em" up :3gears: , Thanks AL.
I like what Dan did :TU: . The "photoshop" rims are ok, but I would put Rally rims on if it were mine (but that's just me). Al if you like it that's good enought for me tint the windows too Beth
Buick Wagons Rule!!!!! Beth I wish they made a FWD ralley wheel. They did make one for the FWD Skylark (X body) buy it was a 14"X6" small lug pattern. My car being a 3.8 and a wagon uses a 115mm wide pattern with H.D. drive axles. AL.
ou: what was I thinking  They do look better with the black background, I'm liking them more. Beth
wire wheels Al, for what it's worth, I think the wire wheels look great on your car. Adds to the sleeper factor. Kind of like that black wagon that we saw in Salem...wire wheels, Pooh sun shade, baby seat and TURBO MOTOR! I have followed you to E-Town before, I know that wagon rolls! It's just nice to dust some unsuspecting prey with a stock looking wagon.
Just my taste...but Al, How about keeping the stock wire wheels and putting in a GN drivetrain. Now that would be insane!
Buick Wagons Rule!!!!! Well, ALL your opinions matter! And after seeing the feedback and the original theme intended on this car I'm keeping the sheep suit on under this wolf. Like Paul said this little wagon rolls with the big dogs on I 795 and got a couple double takes from the rice rockets. So I will leave things as they are just don't tell anyone about the engine, suspention, and exhaust modifications :Brow: , Thanks you all, you all are the best!!! :TU: AL.
Buick Wagons Rule!!!!! You said insane? I have a 4.1 RWD V6 lined up to do a FWD Turbo converstion on. Larry (LarrysGS) thought a supercharge 3800 would be cool. I know of a 3800 superchargered 3800 that I can buy reasonable but its missing the most important part. The 3.8 I have in there works well but if I ever pull it I will do something interesting to this wagon because its mine for life! I'm still thinking of turbo charging the 3.8 thats in it now, don't get me started! Buick V6 or V8, these powerplants make super Torque!!! My 68 Corvette is fast but doesn't have the low end power of a Buick engine on take off!!! :3gears: AL.
Yes! but.... New drive train yes! But, never, never, never change that color! SLEEPER BROWN! Color code: ZZZZZZZZZZZZZwhat the FFFFFF! As a daily driver you have got it nailed Al!
Buick Wagons Rule!!!!! Thanks Steve, the body shop owner tried to have me change the color and loose the hood orniment but I kept every thing as original down to the briar brown (dark brown) interoir. the body shop owner thought I was nuts, but after he saw the car done with all the up grades (daul exhaust, factory full guage and all the T Type goodies) he saw the big picture as you and I did :bglasses: AL.
