    Hi George - W-E is a auto hardware supply company - I think in NJ. The exact part I am looking for is discontinued so I'm hoping someone has some old stock. They hold on the thin horizontal stainless moulding on the tailgate of a 66-67 Buick Special or Sport wagon. I'm told there were other applications as well - all GM. The barb is about 9/16ths and the width of the body is 3/8ths.
