need timing help

    do i mount this directly in between or do you have some measurements or just make it close.

    use the first picture as a guide. The cam is right up against the link pin, and there is no vacuum advance. Then you can pivot the cam for varying amounts of vacuum advance. You can also limit a stock cannister by making a block off plate, like in these pictures.

    In my 71 electra with the 455 engine my ta112 cam with points worked best set at 10 degree's I believe 4 degree's above stock setting. I have a similar issue I added a hei with a advance kit so in 1975 the stock hei timing on a 455 is 12 degree's so rite now my car is set to 12 but to feel my cam I need it at closer to 16 degree's i'm guessing so try 4 degree's above the stock setting which is most likely 12 degree's.

    Larry,
    I'm counting on you to help me dial in my MSD Digital6 ignition this weekend at Cecil.
    I know last year at Englishtown with your help, I was getting quicker ET's till eliminations came around. Bring your timing light and meet me in the pits,
    Fri. is test and tune and I'll be tunning all day,with your help :TU: :TU:

    I couldn't get Friday off. I'll be down bright and early Saturday morning though. See you then. Last year, I think we had you at 36*, retarding back 2* to 34 at 4400 RPM.
