How many people are looking for the sport mirror gaskets I know I am. How many gaskets would need to be ordered to get someone to reproduce them?

    Thanks Jim

    Well I just bought these
    Hopefully these will work
    They look ok
Hopefully I have time to swap them out later and snap a picture
But for now it's my daughter's soccer game......

That looks like a regular Camaro gasket. I think that will give you the same result that you have now. Not trying to ruin your day,but there is no angle or wedge shape to it,to tip the mirror away from the car.

I have a gasket that I am going to try. This gasket is for the 73-77 Cutlass sport mirrors, with the stud type pedestals. It has a wedge very similar to the 70-72 GS gaskets. It will require a few minor mods, but I think it will work,or at least better than a flat gasket. The studs on the bottom side of the gasket will need sliced off. One of the mirror bracket screws will pass through the large hole, but a hole will need to be drilled in the gasket for the other screw. There is an alignment rail that fits up inside the pedestal nicely, but there is a small part of the pedestal webbing that interferes with it. Either trim back the webbing,or make a relief cut in the rail on the gasket. None of it would be seen once installed. I will get these modified and mounted soon.

Not sure if this will help but I have added pictures of a correct gasket and mirror bottom.

Yea,but the problem is nobody is making that exact gasket right now. There are mirrors for sale, but no gaskets.

OPGI and Year One both have sport mirror gaskets listed. Are they not correct? What am I missing here? Anybody ever order them?

They are NOT correct. Generic incorrect parts incorrectly listed.
