We need: o Air Cleaner Housing o Fan Shroud o Fender Skirts o 430 Oil Dipstick (block mounted - no dipstick tube) o Door Sill Plates o ST400 Kickdown Switch We're also trying to locate NOS or repro trunk mat, cardboard trunk trim, and a washer fluid reservoir. Thanks for any help. Rick & Kristi
We are located in Lake Anna, VA 22553. The 'stop' on our original oil dipstick is loose, so the dipstick can be pushed just about all the way into the block. We're looking for one that works so the oil level can be read accurately. And our car is missing the skirts so a set in good shape would be great. Thanks, Rick
I've got a good dipstick and one skirt from a 68 Electra ( ) . If MrBig doesn't get you taken care of let me know.
I'll look in the trunk of the 67 convertible...see if maybe I kept the set off of that car. Of course if someone else can get you what you need, your welcome to work something out. I need to look anyway:TU: Should be able to let you know in a few days...
Hi Jim- Do you have a link or contact number for REM, I searched and couldn't find them. Thanks. Mitch

Rem We tried to e-mail REM directly, but the e-mail was returned. We just placed an order for REM through Brian Weaver at www.gbodyparts.com. Contact Brian and tell him Rick & Kristi sent you. Thanks for all the info everybody! Kristi & Rick
Got some pics of the air cleaner. It's from a 67 Electra 430. The top (which I've stripped, prepped, and primed) has one tiny ding in the upper right hand corner - otherwise it turned out nice. Plan on a couple of coats of correct semi-gloss black rattle can. The base I have only cleaned with Simple Green. There is some light surface corrosion here and there but it could be easily removed and will clean up well. That is the original graphic on the side and it's in good shape - didn't want to disturb that! All the parts and pieces go with it and the valves and snorkel blockoff thingy appear to be in working shape. $40 shipped as is or $45 with the top finished. Looks like you found your dipstick - do you want me to dig out that fan shroud and post pics? http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f180/pyro_225/68AirCleanerTop.jpg http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f180/pyro_225/68AirCleanerBaseSide.jpg http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f180/pyro_225/68AirCleanerBaseBottom.jpg http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f180/pyro_225/68AirCleanerParts.jpg
My original '67 Electra air cleaner does not have the plumbing for the exhaust heat at the bottom of the snorkel or the vacuum-operated flapper in the snorkel like yours (and others) seem to have. How can that be? My air cleaner base measures 15 3/4" across the top, and the case is 4" thick at full height (no lid). It also has a cut-out to provide clearance for the ST400 kickdown switch thingy. I am definitely interested in your fan shroud. A pic or two would be great. Thanks, Rick
That fan shroud is from a 69 Electra. Good shape except one small but clean 2 " crack on the bottom right. Easily fixed and hidden: http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f180/pyro_225/FanShroud.jpg http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f180/pyro_225/FanShroudCrack.jpg The fender skirt's (right rear only) chrome trim is rough but the rest is in good shape: http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f180/pyro_225/68ElectraRRSkirt.jpg Here's a dipstick: http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f180/pyro_225/430Dipstick.jpg The door sills I have all need some work but you can have all of them with the fan shroud(packed in same box): http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f180/pyro_225/DoorSills.jpg Let me know if any of this will work for you.
I was able to find the dip stick! NO FENDER SKIRTS! I also have a MINT 67 air-cleaner assembly...exactly like the one you posted the picture of. Looks like you have lots of intrest. Let me know if I can help, once you sort it all out.
My fan shroud was shattered into a million pieces when the motor mount failed and the fan took it out. But from what I can remember, it was held on by a single bolt at the top center and two slip-clip things at each bottom corner. This seems to be a bit different from the one shown in your pics. Dang... I appreciate the help, Rick
