Hey everyone. I hate having to ask for help like this, but I need to. I have fallen on some hard financial times and need some assistance in stretching out my finances for a few more months. As some know here, my mom passed away about two years from adrenal cancer. Her estate and finances were a mess and I have been having to help maintain her house financially while trying to get it sold. Its finally under contract, but probably still a few months away from closing. In the mean time, I am also self employed and right now business is slow. I have been also dealing with another private personal matter which has greatly affected my finances. I can't really go into it due to privacy, but lets just say: Cancer Sucks! I've been where your at. I was executor for my Moms estate a few years ago, what a hassle! Estate sale, moving stuff into a storage facility, listing the house, then having to repaint the interior of the house, and clean, clean clean Replace fixtures, update this and that, all the while paying utilities, taxes due, landscaping changes because of local "code violations" More than likely tho, companies that you owe money too in regards to the home will wait till the sale of the home to be paid. Thank you for the encouragement it is much appreciated. On top of everything else, my landlord that we rent our house from now wants to sell it. Trying to get them to hold out until the estate gets settled and we can make our own offer on it. If not, then we have to move, but really hoping to avoid that. Sale on mom's house fell through, so now have to do a deed in lieu of foreclosure so we can be rid of it and get the estate settled.
