Getting some bad creaking noises on my '96 LeSabre last few weeks, so I had my mechanic take a look on the lift. He pointed out the inner rear passenger side subframe insulators were gone.

He said the other three looked okay and it was safe to drive for now. Well, the noise is driving me crazy and I been looking online to see just what is involved parts wise, etc. I took another look underneath this evening and realized that it is worse than first thought. I am pretty sure the bottom insulators on all the rear mounts are gone as the lower retainers are directly resting on the subframe. This is the passenger side. It looks like the lower mount on the outer pushed right through the subframe, I'm assuming its metal retainer rusted out and/or the stress from the inner one being gone allowed it to slowly push through.

I think my mechanic missed that because all them were like that and it appears normal at first. I plan on going to the local Buick dealer to check on part numbers and prices, but I wanted to check with you guys as well.

According to my Service Manual (I don't know if these are actually part#s or not), these are the insulators:
    Upper Inner Rear: Tan 3542636
    Upper Outer Rear: Orange 25536050
Lower Inner and Outer Rear: 1641391 If you look closely at the second pic, you can actually read those numbers on the remaining piece of rubber.

    According to gmpartsdirect:
Upper Inner and Outer Rear: 25536050 - They list the same part for both rear uppers
    Lower Inner Rear: 14103535
    Lower Inner Outer: 25533991
    Upper Spacers: 25526705
    Bolts: 11561577
    Lower Retainers: Not Available
~$205 shipped, which I believe is reasonable from what I read what dealer cost would probably be.

So, maybe the dealer can shed some light on the upper mounts, same or different, but anyone hear know for sure?
And more importantly, anyone have the part# for the reatainers, or anyone know if I can just use a retainer from a different year or car, i.e. the retainers for a '97 are available on gmpartsdirect, part# 1640188 (pic I found on ebay on same part looks pretty close to my rusty ones). Since all its doing is compressing up on rubber mount, I can't think that whatever slight difference there are in the metal stamping is going to make much of a difference. Or could I even just use heavy steel washers?

Once I get the parts, my plan is to spray PB Blaster all over the four mounts for maybe a week and then bring it to my mechanic and hope that all the bolts come out okay. I'm thinking with the PB before for a week I'll be okay as from the pics, I don't think the bolts look all that bad considering mileage, location and pictures I have seen of others.
