    For my 69 Riv.

Anyone know what the part #'s are and availability?

Year One shows one but I don't think it'll fit.

I need the backup socket (1156 bulb) and the brake/turn socket (1157 bulb).

    Thanks!

    Jeff,
Have you tried NAPA or any parts store for that matter. They commonly stock pigtails and sockets that will work. It's not like you are going to see them, they're hidden behind the lenses anyway.

Go to your nearest NAPA store and tell them that you want to look in their Echlin Buyers Guide. This is the book with the pictures in it. In the tail light section you should be able to find the sockets you want.

If you just go in and ask for them by application - the parts people will just look at you funny and say they don't have 'em.

Chances are good they really do have what you need or can get them in short order.

If this doesn't work let me know, I have some of their old onfo on a CD.

I commonly see them hanging in bubble packs next to the fuses and lightbulbs.

GM# 8903283--- Does not show as avaiable on Gmpartsdirect.com but I did not try the extended service. Part number could have been revised as this was the original number.

    Thanks gang.

I had planned on doing the NAPA book hunt thing, but figured it was worth a look here first.

I'll surely post what I find. I'll be using a new NAPA that is near where my new job is. Hope they are as accomodating as my old NAPA was.

I ordered from their book. They are listed as 69 Buick sockets. We'll see tomorrow.
