I have a new dash pad as well as cluster surround for my 73 as well as the inside trim parts that are factory. The trouble is,my interior bleached out so bad its kinda greenish color and the new dash is a different color as well.I would like to get some interior paint dye so I can get all the plastic one color.Who makes the easiest and best product to use? Is this an easy job to do? I am also needing to locate a rear speaker shelf. Any suggestions as to a supplier?
Year One has what you're looking for. You can go to their website, click on "Buick", then "Skylark", then "Print Catalog Online". Next enter page 19 on the upper right hand corner of the form. It has the interior paints and dyes. Hope this helps, Chris
Get the best dye.....SEM...... www.sem.ws You can use their color chart and then visit any local body shop supplier to get your dye.
I have 6 spray cans I can't give away. www.autocolourlibrary.com sent them in error while I was cleaning up my own interior. They advised just keep & they later sent me the right mix. I tried giving them away a couple years back but could not get them shipped out of Canada. I'll spray a sample patch & send it to you. Should the colour be right I can bring them to Carlisle with me in the Fall. You can have them gratis.
