Need pics of 50's side trim please...

    On the 56 Century, cause the 55 Roadmonster they were painted no chrome

    Jason, the RoadMonster is long gone, owner lives in Conn. When we built the car back in 1999, we used two 96 Trooper car chassis (Impala) welded together to make the wheel base for the roadmonster, 455 with a turbo 400 and the rear of the cop car. The paint was 3 tone, using gun metal grey where the molding was suppose to be.
    Here some photos I took today, the front piece on the fender is 45 inches long, the second piece that goes over the doors is 75 inches long with the curve going down to the edge of the wheel weld. The third piece is 62 inches long, going over the wheel weld to the end of the car. Hope this helps.

    Having had a 56 and looking at Badboattails pics, I'm always curious about the many kinds of outside mirror versions you see.
    Some on the doors, some on the fenders, and different locations too.
    Anyone know why? Most seem like factory installations too.
