Greetings: Would anyone know where I could source a battery tray for my 1970 electra. Looks like the old tray has had it and I need to replace it. Any Ideas would really help. Thanks
When I needed one for my Riv I just got a universal one. It has the hold down on the bottom. I finally sourced a rust free 69 Riv one, but that took some looking. If you desire an original one, you'll just have to scour the junkyards (call Memory Lane in CA, and the desert junkyards).
Would the universal one be an okay fit. Any ideas where I could source one, for instance summit or autozone ? Thanks
Battery Tray There are quality after market universal repro trays available. Try evilBay or your local Autozone, NAPA. Once the battery is installed you don't even see it. :TU: Canadian source: I got mine at good old CTC ! :beer :TU:
Thanks for the tip, I will try Canadian tire for a replacement. I checked Summit racing and they have a nice stainless one, but Canadian tire is alot closer. I will give them a try, Thanks Again.
