I have a stock 1969 GS 350. It still has the Stock Posi rearend in it but I think the clutches are starting to give up. How do I know what clutch kit or rebuild kit to order? It is a 10 bolt. Mark
Unfortunately that is a difficult rear to rebuild. I would consider buying a replacement posi over an attempt at a rebuild or send it to a pro like OPH. http://www.buickperformance.com/82posirepair.htm

Mark, The stock '69 rear has the cone style posi which is tough to get parts for. Most people will pull that rear and save it and swap in the newew '71-up clutch-style posi you speak of. That;s what I did!
