    Ok, I have a NOS part that I am trying to sell on ebay and I know it is a switch but I have no clue if it is a A/C selector switch of a regular fan switch. The part number on the box is 7313424 which I believe superceded part number 1386803. The switch is an Indak and has 5 electrical connections. There is also a plastic vacuum switch that is stamped 1387857 in red ink. I am pretty sure that this is a fan switch that has the vacuum switch for A/C cars also. Can someone help me out?

    The ebay item link is: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/e...RK:MESE:IT&viewitem=&item=120052544918&rd=1,1

    Thanks,

    Brian

    thepartsman Back Ordered Again ?

    1386803 = 1969-72 All "A" bdy Blower Switch,AC control (on control panel)

    7313424 = 1970 "A" bdy w/AC, Vacuum switch

    1387857 = 1969-72 All "A" bdy w/AC, Switch,master Vacuum ( on control panel)

    Not the same.

    darrenkp Love that Torque!

    You are basically correct in your description of the part. What you have is the blower switch and the master vac. switch for a '69 to '72 Buick A-body with A/C. These are two different parts that mount together, as you already know. Basically, what it does is it sends vac. to the selector switch when the blower is switched on. This acted as the master "on/off" switch for the whole system.

    I could not find the 7313424 part number in my Parts Catalog, but the other two numbers are correct. I'm thinking that either that was the number for both of these parts ordered together as an assembly, or someone bought them both, assembled them, and just stuck them in that box because it fit. :TU:
