Hello, I have attached a picture of what my front end looks like on the reassembly. Are the headlight bezel gaps too big and how can I overcome that? thanks
Dave, My '71 has a gap of 7/16" at the extreme front edge of the bezel, measured up to the hood lip. Can't tell what you have. Once the bumper is on it will take attention away from the gap. No reference in the chassis manual or service manual as to what this gap should be. I learned early these cars were built new "for a price". Not everything fits perfectly.
The core support is the origonal but the fenders aree GM NEW NOS. they fit fine and the hood & door lines are very good.
