Ok can anyone tell me what the same hell is going on here. Alright I got my 1965 Buick Skylark back from my friend running great with the rebuild. I got a new voltage regulator because they said there was something funny with the one I have cuz if they left the battery hooked up it would leak out somewhere and the bat would be dead the next day. Anyhow I decided a few days ago to put it on, then I read that if there is a leak in the system that you shouldnt install it till you find the leak cuz it can fry it. SO all I had done so far with the bat unhooked was take the wiring harness off the old one and un screw it from the firewall. I put it back on and it wouldnt start. I put the new one on today and it STILL wont start. When I hook up the battery the new regulator clicks.can anyone tell me what the sam hell is wrong with that damn thing?!
