need help on my 455 wiring

    Hello every one i have a problem that i can't seem to figure out on my 1970 Buick Electra 455 there are two wires i have no idea on they are a red and red/black wires that connect to something i just can't seem to find where they plug in to any where any and all help is appreciated

    Where on the car are these 2 wires located?

    Right now they are near the alternator

    I believe they are probably the leads leads for an air conditioning compressor. they might also be for the TCS solenoid. If you post a photo i could probably positively ID them. Either way, unless you want to set up AC, you probably dont need them, that is unless one of the them is the + ignition lead! :grin:

    Would that stop my car from starting if its The tcs switch

    No, the TCS is a pollution contol device that is commonly eliminated. Is the real problem that your engine won't start, and you are trying to figure that out in a round about way?
