I have had my 70 not start a few times and it seems if I jiggle the wires to the voltage regulator a relay would click and it starts right up. What relay is back there or why would this cause a no-start condition-everything is on, guages all move, lights on, just acts like there is no spark at all. it has pertronix in the distributor-maybe its not geting power? This happened at my condo, all my tools are about 4 miles away at my garage...
Is there a relay in the voltage regulator that yould cause this condition? THe problem has shown up after the car has been driven, runs fine till it is shut off, then will not restart.

    Thanks, stranded in SW Ohio-

    Not sure Ted

I do recall replacing my voltage regulator back in the mid 80's, and it fixed my problem. I think there are contacts that can go bad. :Do No:

Unless you are having with the pertronixs..... :Do No:
