I hope somebody can help me with this. I need somebody to measure the distance on the backside of the seatback on a set of 1964 bucket seats. I would perfer the original seat covers but if you have had them recovered that would as work. I mesured mine about 3 inches from the bottom across the back and if you could do the same up higher towards the top of the seat. I put the tape measure on the inside of the corner bead and measured across to the other inside bead. Thank your help

    Hi Ed,
Mine are in line with Darren's about 20" across, half way up the seat back.

Thanks Bruce, That is what I am looking for. The original 65 I have is the same as yours. Are your seat covers original or replacement covers?

Darren if you could measure yours in the middle of the back of the seat that would be great since yours are originals.

Here is the 65 seat with the end of the tape pushed against the inside the other bead not in the picture.

It looks like my new seat covers are about an inch to narrow at this point since the corner bead doesnt make it to the end of the seat frame.

If you guys get a chance to check the distance center between the beads on the seat back that would be great. I really want to thank you guys for your help.

I talked with Legendary today and they are going to take care of the seat cover issue under warranty. They are looking for the right color and I should have my seatbacks in about 3 weeks.

Thanks for everybody that helped me with the measurements...
