Well, last year, I ordered my brother a radiator for his 66 Riv. Ad said it would fit, but when it came, it was for a 67 up. I used it in my 70 and we put his on the back burner for a while. My father bought him one a couple of weeks back from Ebay. Again, listed wrong and was for the 67 up. Went to the old radiator shop in my town and he said he had one. Guess what? It too is for the 67 and up. All his books, even old ones showed it fitting a 66. Can I find one for it? Is it a one year rad.? Is my only option getting his old one recored?

I had that same problem. There is a mistake in the book. The '66 uses a one year only radiator. Save yourself the trouble, and just get it recored.......I wonder who wrote that application guide, I've seen a couple different versions over the years and they are all wrong.

Just remember, you get what you pay for.....a cheap recore won't last long.......many cores come from china and are no good. Try to get a good one. :bglasses:
