    Hello Buick Brothers!
I need some help with my '72 GS bucket seats. The latch mechanism that locks the seat in the upright position is broken. I have it all apart to get recovered, so I can see the long thin flat metal "spring" has snaped. It is the piece that goes in the track of the upper seat back. It bolts to the lower cushion base.
Does anyone know where I can find one?
Any used seats that someone can sell this part or any ideas??
    Thanks.
I can take a picture if this makes no sense! :TU:

That part will have to come from a salvage seat. They are not available new.

    Seat Latch!

    Thanks George,
I guess I'll try to find someone who has a seat to part-out.
The last time at was at the local "Pick-your-part" a couldn't even find anything with a 455, or even an "A-body" anything.
I'll try parts wanted section. :Do No:
Thanks again George for the input. :beer

Take a pic and post it in a "Parts Wanted" ad...also--these are generic pieces between all the GM a-body and some other GM bucket seats
