Hey Folks, I just sent my dash bezel out to be refinished and detailed. The guy called back to let me know that there is some some broken, driled or cutout plastic; not cracks but spots where apparently someone had removed some small spots for some reason. My untrained eye did not see these. So I need a different core. Let me know if you have one that is not cracked, drilled, with out damaged attachment points. The chrome does not need to be good but the plastic must be perfect with no chips in the plastic not even small ones on the edges of the bezel. If someone has a show quality bezel that has already been restored and is reasonable I would consider that as well. Thanks, George

I had them do mine and they did not paint it either . But it only cost me 35.00 back in 1990 . Mr G's quoted me 225.00 painted

I have two good, striped-down bezels with air (has the vent cut out on it) The same part you will have to send them for replating. The non-air bezels do not have a part of the bexel cut out from the factory. In either case the hole can be covered by the block-off cover I think that is put there from the factory. I know two of them are in good condition and one that came off of my car has been cut and drilled on. I will take one you want out of the box it is in, look it over, and pack it for shipping. If you do the painting yourself by hand be perpaired to spend at least three hours taping it off correctly and hope when you take the tape off, you don't remove paint somewhere you don't want it removed. There is one company that has a special mask they use to cover it. You might cotact Then and now
