Looking for a good, current GM part number for the 70-72 front upper control arm X shafts....these have the large threaded ends that the large locknuts and washers go onto. Front upper bushings go over each end also. These shafts are also bolted onto the frame. DON'T need any info on Moog, etc replacements. Thanks
I think the part # you are looking for is #396678. I bought an NOS from the Buick farm about a year ago but I could only find one so I decided to use Moog replacements. I would be willing to sell this for what I paid which was $43 after shipping to me. So after shipping to you say an even $50. I was going to try and gouge some Ebay chevelle guy but the bushing mounting areas are not shiny as this thing obviously sat on some shelf for many years. i also painted the body flat black to protect it as the original black oxide type finish was old looking as well. My receipt said it came with bushings however either it did not or I misplaced them as I used all new Moog bushings as well. Let me know or Ebay Chevelle guys pay up$$$$$$$$$$$$$$( I love to beat them at the track and take their Money!)
