Need to have a choke identified as I'm not sure which V8 application it is for? PN is 1375065. It is a divorced choke for the QJ/ stock intake manifold. Thanks for any help here.

I've got one laying here and its supposed to be 70 455. I can't verify it though. Not much help huh?

    Hi Andy,

That's OK. At least you responded!:Brow: If it is for a 455, I would keep it but if a 350 choke, would let it go. Anyone else know for sure the application? :Do No:

How many bolts hold it down and what is the placement/appearance of the shape of the plate?

I know its not for a 70 350 because it didn't fit mine while I had it. I'm pretty sure its for a BB.

One bolt holds it down to intake manifold. Flat on one side and angles out like > on the other side although not that pronounced. I can get a pic of it over the weekend to post.

Thanks Jim. Any conflict to this working on a 70 455 as designed and intended? It is one of those bi-metal chokes that works off manifold heat to adjust on carb.

Thermal clock spring type? I presume there is some difference there but have no idea what it is? Do you have a known 70 to compare it with?

Here's a pic of the one I have. Ignore the custom choke rod:pp

I can't post a pic, but my 70 choke has two numbers on it. If you were to look at it from the passenger side the top number is 1232261, the bottom is 1231905. This choke came from my 1970 SF 455 from a 70 Riv with 35,0000 miles (and it was rusted beyond repair). So in all likelyhood it came from the factory that way.

Yes, it's a thermal clock spring type. I'll have to dig some to find a spare 455 choke but just by eyeballing it abd from memory, it appears the same.
