Need Carb I.D'd Please

    72 V Code 71 72 GS GSX Fan

    Ok-Can someone tell me if this is a 72 Stage1 Carb?
    Here are the numbers on it:

    2-- Auto trans

    --Date code: 307= Nov 3
    1- 1971

    And it is the Stage 1 carb!!!!!!!!!

    Yup that's the correct part number for the 72 Stage 1 Q-Jet.....

    built the 307th day of 1971....or, Wednesday, November 3rd, 1971....

    Jeff,

    The absolute BEST advice I can give you as far as worth is to list it on eBay.

    The 2242 Q-Jets don't pop up too often so you might surprise yourself.

    Positively--- eBay. You need a nationwide (worldwide?) audience of enthusiasts who are not experts (if you know what I mean) to get top dollar... good luck.
