Its a 72 buick skylark, I need every part over the windsheild frame, the latches,A-post rubbers and the wide stainless trim, all the trim each side of the rear view-mirror, and the map light mirror. Are there any other GM cars that inter-change or does anybody want to part with their collection of buick convertible parts, help if you can, I:ll clean and repant if I have too. the interior is black. THANKS, jerrold:TU:
George, thats good news for me, the hunt is on. But if any of you guys know of any vert. parts let me know, thanks, call, 1-734-776-3734 or e-mail here.
Rich, thanks for the info, I think I found some parts close to home, But if it falls through, I;ll get back with you. :TU:
One item that may not be the same is the A-pillar interior moldings. My understanding is that chevelles (??) use one that is a about 3/8" shorter than the others. I know I read that somewhere and forgot about it until I ordered some repro stuff and yup, too short. Whether that was a crappy repro or there is some truth there, not sure. Just a heads up, maybe one day I'll get a set to compare directly. I do have a review of those repro pieces on my website that shows the length of each side to side: http://members.shaw.ca/timcr/pillars.html
Thanks for the heads up, TimR. I just inquired a buick conv. parts car, it should help me finish the better convertible. :TU:
