I found a 10 bolt rear axle for my 70 Chevelle It went right in but one of the axles is bent at the flange and it has the pressed on bearing and seal that bolts to the end of the axle housing. It has 3.73 gears with clutch type posi Where can I find a used axle and what bearing and seal do I use, I already know my driveshaft is to long and I will need a larger U-joint.The numbers I found on the axle tube were SA B 127 2 and the casting # was 1235197 any idea what this was out of ?

I have soome here also. You can sometimes even use the 1973-1975 axles from pontiac buick and olds rears they are only about 1/8 longer and i have used them.

Jdrace.com has all the bearings listed for all the most popular GM rears

    here is what you need

A9 bearing (yes that is the part number...lol)
712146 seal .490 thickness (do not get the 2146) it is NOT wide enough.

Hope this helps and if you need one PM me and will see what we can do on price. Jim
