I am looking for some tech info:

Port volumes/CC's for a ported set of Stg3's, intake/exhaust? Mine flow 340/350 intake-265 exhaust. close #'s will work

Short side and long side lengths of intake/exhaust ports?

Intake runner lengths for a Dominator TA intake?

Compression height for a stock 455 block?

What's the common piston pin size for the 6.800 Alum rod set up?

Bearing journal diameter for the camshaft?

If I was at home this would be alot easier........:spank:

    Dude,
The pin on my set-up is BBC .990 instead of the 1" buick pin. Since the rods and pistons are custom pieces it may pay off to have them made on sbc .927. That would save a ton of weight, I don't no what one would lose in the strenght department though. :Do No:

    deck height is 10.570
    cam journal is 1.750
runners are around 5 to 6 inches for the short ones and 7 to 8 for the long ones aproximately
your better of with a .990 pin rather than the buick 1.0
pin selection is much better especialy on a nitrous application

    Hey Rick,

Last winter Gary Kubisch and I measured the port volume of our cylinder heads. My Stg 2s were at 248 ccs (max flow 336) and my Stg 4s were around 258 ccs (max flow 353). If I remember correctly Gary's Stg 2s were around 246 (max flow 325).

The roof of the port is 6.25 inches long while the port floor is 3.75 inches.

I dont know about the T/A intake but my Chrysler Indy intake runner is about 8.5 inches from the carb base to the port exit measure down the center of the port.

A stock Buick block is supposed to be 10.600 from the center of the crank to the top of the deck. Most of the blocks I have seen are around 10.575.

For the rod pin I would stay with a .990 pin for our large bore pistons. If your going naturally aspirated then use a lightweight version. BUT.... I know you like that happy juice so you had better use on that is very strong!!

    Hope this helps.... Take Care
