Need a working set of 70-72 GS gauges

I need a working set of gauges for a 70 Skylark, I installed mine today and the gas gauge wont work properly. I would like to find another.
Any assistance will be appreciated.

What does the gas gage do... how is it acting?

Check your ground wire for good grounding contact. Check the one at the tank to the frame and also, the one inside the trunk - near the lock. I remember having trouble with mine and that was the problem. Maybe one under-dash to check, too.

When I put the original one back in, all is fine. I believe the unit is bad.

That being said, I would still like to purchase a nice gauge cluster, or , does anyone remanufacture/ sell them.

Have you inspected the wire wound resistor on the back of the gauge? Maybe it is open? Each gauge has one on the back of the package.
