STAGE III Lost Experimental 455-4 Bolt Main Block.

Well Alan hooked me up STRONG (Thank you "Izanurse"!!!!) on some ported and polished original 70 Stage 1 iron heads, complete with T/A stainless valves and retainers and ARP head bolts : )

I still need springs that will play nicely with the used low mile C113A cam and some lock keepers if anyone has something. Can't wait to get this turkey running again! Been asleep since the 1990's but oil is super clean,no metal and spins freely!

Thanks in advance for any help and YES (!) I will horse trade if you care too! : )

Well,I do have a set of springs,my cam was a TA 413,they were discarded,as I went to a bigger cam,242 -258.And I can also sply you with the retainers .Think of a number for them Bruno.

Thank you for the offering on the used springs, Bruno.

Phillip66 and I have been helping each other out on parts and today there was a box on my doorstep of new Comp Cam springs.

I am a newbie on matching up valve train parts but hopefully these will be correct for my C113A cam....... IMG_4697.JPG

Way to much spring pressure, more suited for a roller cam, also, I'm guessing the OD of the springs are too big for your rockers.

Maybe I need to look at swapping someone for something better suited?
I am going to try and use my 72 stock short block with the 70 ported and polished Stage 1 heads that have also been milled a couple thousandseths, stock rocker assemblies and a set of copperhead gaskets I got from John Kemper before we lost him.So also concerned about valve clearance on the C113 A
    Appreciate any advice IMG_4600.PNG IMG_4601.PNG IMG_4697.JPG

Well, sounds like I may need your used springs to go with my low mile C113A, Bruno.

Think yours will work with this application?

    Thanks
