Need a Buick 8.2 core

I'm looking for a 8.2 rear core for a 70 GS convertible. I have the carrier, gears, seals and axles, just need the housing. Close to NY City or Long Island would be best

I have one I'll be pulling shortly. I'm in MD but have to take a trip up north before long.

Damn I wish you were close by.I’ve got a complete 8.2 from my 66 going to scrap this next week after we get back from power tour.

 

Do you have all of the correct internals for a 68-70 8.2” Buick? Sounds like maybe you found a rotted housing with hood guts in it.

 

I blew the posi carrier. When I went to replace it, I found that some a$$wipe put a '68 Pontiac rear in the car that was only made for half a year. Impossible to get the bearings for it. So I already have the new carrier, gears and seal kit for a Buick 8.2 and want to put the correct housing back in the car.

 

Ok. I was just making sure it’s the 68-70 Buick 8.2” parts because that rear is unique to itself.

 

Where did you source the seals and bearings? I need parts for mine.
