I'm helping a friend gather up parts for a 455 build for his '70 GS. Needs a good short block that can be bored .030 and a good crank that can be turned. He has heads, pistons, rods, oil pan and valve train already. Ideally, the parts should be in Florida or somewhere in the southeast so we can drive to pick them up.

No apologies needed. Appreciate the links. I've already checked these out and eliminated them for various reasons. Mostly too far to drive for a complete motor which he doesn't need and their prices were more than he wants to spend.
I have one torn down to a short block. It’s a 73-up. Not stuck,clean cylinders. However,I’m in Erie,PA. If you don’t find something,I can ship it.
I'll add two long distance blocks and cranks. Have a 1970 SF bare block and crank Also have a TR 1971 bare block and crank. I disassembled both engines, no major issues seen, other than high mileage. Still have rod and main bearings, for inspection. Have cylinder heads also. Both are in 73115 area Oklahoma city
