I hear Scotty is coming up in June to drop off Phil's motor to me and bringing back a nailhead for someone in your area George. Scotty is willing to pick up motors in our area if anyone needs something rebuilt. Let him know in the next couple weeks.

Doesnt matter what year George as long as it has the hole for the ball stud,doesnt have to be a complete motor cause im gonna be doing a stroker motor,so all i basically need is block and main caps,pan,pick up tube and crank splash shield. thanks
Well, checked out the car....was not a 74 and was not a full size...sheesh..the guys at the yard don't know a Buick from a Ford....was a 76 Regal....nuttin special. No other BBB in the yards.

I have a 70 out of 225 if u want its missing intake and carb but has dist and manifolds jumped time a while back so pulled it out and its been setting on my back porch 350.00 u pick up im in north ala steve ph # 2563793026
I dont mind its missing the carb,again all i need is the block,main caps,oil splash shield and rear sump pan and pick up tube the rest you can keep if you want,is the engine a standard bore?i`m not familiar with FL where abouts are you?my machine shop is down there i dont live there so have no clue where you are? Yes, it's standard bore. I'm about 12 hours from Spring Hill, Florida. If you want to look at a map of Alabama, I live in Huntsville.
George...I think I have a line on a 70 455 outa LeSlabber. . I talked to the fello tonight and he has abunch of Buick parts I will go take a look at Tuesday evening. Its kinda difficult to spend someone elses money for fear of paying too much, so, if its a complete motor?, whats it worth to you? o No: I would consider picking it up east of Tampa and delivering it to Scotty & Pat in Springhill..:TU: ! I guess the guy didn't think I was serious enuf to have it OUT where I could see it. .:af: . .it was kinda snuffed under a bench full of boxes and junk and was difficult to inspect because he also has a 96 Riviera stuffed in the garage that for some reason, hasn't moved in 5 years or so.. . .so big'Ofatme. ..hadta squeeeze in/&down best I could kneeling on chunks of kitty litter. old oily rags, and of course I had to kneel down right SMACK on top of a drywall wood screw!! . .OUUUUCCCHHH!!!! . . can someone say...HOLE IN THE KNEE:rant: ...anyway, the heads are off and wrapped in 1998 newspaper. . I saw boxes of pistons with what appears to be NEW ringsets, timing chain cover looked good. . .saw a corner of the intake and he SAYS he has the carb somewhere?? along with an oil pan??? ou: He couldn't find them however. It appears that this is a clean 455 with only 55K so he says. Tells me he had a 70 LeSlabber he wrecked and pulled the motor. Been sitting for a long time. He told me he would like to sell it for $250. He is waiting for me to let him know... AND he askes me if I would 'HELP HIM" :shock: dig it out from under all that garbige.
